Laura Lombardi
Laura Lombardi is a New York–based jewelry line, known for its contemporary approach to traditional jewelry design. Through creating bold chains and sculptural earrings, Laura Lombardi balances a raw industrial style, influenced by the designer’s native New York with classic European motifs to create jewelry that feels of the old world and new.
After constructing jewelry by hand from upcycled materials as a pastime, Laura formed a collection and business in 2010 that remains a deeply personal body of work influenced by memories from either side of the Atlantic.
Featured in publications such as Vogue, WSJ, Elle, W, New York Magazine, Bazaar, Teen Vogue, Coveteur, Interview, GQ and countless others, Laura Lombardi is a fixture in the world of contemporary jewelry.
Laura Lombardi is stocked at several speciality retailers worldwide, including Net-a-Porter, SSENSE, Matches, United Arrows, Macondo and more. The collection is also sold at the brand's flagship showroom in New York, opened in 2019.
For each collection, Laura spends time sourcing vintage and archive material to reimagine into new designs. In recontextualizing items such as a single chain link or an assortment of cast-off clasps, the designer creates collections that highlight contemporary themes and explore materiality.
Operating to this day with an emphasis on non-traditional materials and craftsmanship, the line is fabricated by both the brand's in-studio production team and carefully considered manufacturing partners, using both new and recycled elements.
